Fiscal Representation

Since June 2011 it has not been obligatory to have Fiscal Representation in Portugal if you are from the EU but not resident in Portugal but own a property here. Although not obligatory it is none the less useful to have some one looking after your tax and financial affairs in Portugal if you are not here very often.

Many companies charge huge fees for offering this service and in alot of cases the biggest problem seems to be lack of communication. We have fluent Portuguese and English speakers in the office and work with our clients to make sure their financial affairs are in order at all times.

We charge a standard fee of 100 Euros plus IVA per person per year, for this we arrange for all of your financial administration to be sent to our office and we deal with and are responsible for your annual IMI returns and for all reporting that is required.
